Gary J. Alter, MD is an Assistant
Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at UCLA. The plastic surgeon attended the University
of California at Berkeley for three years prior to entering medical school
at UCLA, where he earned his medical degree and completed two years of
general surgery residency. Dr. Alter completed a urology residency at the
Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a plastic surgery residency at
the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
